The global agency team is a global and regional function at Facebook tasked with strategically managing the critical relationships with our most important agency and consulting group partners be they scaled local specialists, the world's leading creative agencies, the major consulting shops, and of course the Big Six’ global agency networks.

We are also trusted partners to our in-market and scaled agency teams who working across our most important agencies in our EMEA markets and in our scaled hub from Dublin.

The Regional Agency Lead is a senior, strategic and enthusiastic solutions-driver who will work closely with our in-market and scaled EMEA Agency teams, with the Global Agency Hold-Co Lead and a dynamic range of Cross-Functional partners to land solutions, programs and initiatives that transform our relationships with Agencies across the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of the Agency landscape and the macro trends that affect the agency business.

They will have a proven understanding of both online and traditional media and must be comfortable working with partners at all levels, up to Senior Agency Executives.

Success in this position requires strong consultative and analytical skills, a focus on strategic sales & client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with a diverse set of stakeholders and participants.

This role is based in London. Travel will be circa 30 / 40% of the role depending on circumstances.Regional Agency Lead, EMEA Responsibilities

  • Lead EMEA relationship with Agency Hold-Co
  • Collaborate with counterparts in APAC and LATAM as well as other relevant internal partners to execute successful programmes
  • Build a strong internal community across the teams, sharing best practice and innovation
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with the key stakeholders
  • Develop and deploy programmes that drive our partnerships with across EMEA
  • Lead the development of the JBP (joint business plan) and business plan reviews (QBR, HBR data) with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support key agency events across EMEA
  • Support and manage global programmes and initiatives in conjunction with the Global Agency team
  • Centrally support local market Agency Team needs
  • Represent the voice of the agency community and make recommendations on new programmes that can help support them
  • Build programs that advocate for the agency channel internally at Facebook
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of Agency, Consulting and / or Online Advertising experience
  • An understanding for the Facebook business, it’s mission and its products
  • Strong understanding of the Agency business model and its place in the future
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial in nature and comfortable in ambiguous situations
  • Exceptional written / oral communication skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into partner / client value
  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with peers and managers, both internally and externally across a variety of disciplines
  • Willingness to travel in EMEA (up to 30 / 40%)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in European languages preferred
  • Strong analytical skills - Excel / SQL and a detailed knowledge of data, insights and measurement tools and capabilities used by agencies
