WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role has responsibilities, which include but are not limited to;

Follow food preparation techniques to the specifications required for the menus.

Control temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.

Correctly store and prepare items in line with food handling and safety procedures.

Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.

Maintain food logs.

Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.

Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and during handover between shifts.

Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.

Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.

Ensure the quality of the food items.

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. r

As per business needs and at the request of direct supervisor and / or management, the talent could be required to perform other tasks outside of those listed above.

What we’re looking for

KEY ATTRIBUTES

Possess a good command of English

An excellent verbal manner

At least 2 years experience in a professional kitchen

Good organisation skills with an attention to detail

A team Player with flexible & positive attitude

Hardworking and consistent

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a 5* hotel

Previous brand experience or knowledge
