  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • This role has responsibilities, which include but are not limited to;
  • Follow food preparation techniques to the specifications required for the menus.
  • Control temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Correctly store and prepare items in line with food handling and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
  • Maintain food logs.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and during handover between shifts.
  • Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
  • Ensure the quality of the food items.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. r
  • As per business needs and at the request of direct supervisor and / or management, the talent could be required to perform other tasks outside of those listed above.

  • Possess a good command of English
  • An excellent verbal manner
  • At least 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
  • Good organisation skills with an attention to detail
  • A team Player with flexible & positive attitude
  • Hardworking and consistent
  • DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a 5* hotel
  • Previous brand experience or knowledge
