We are looking to attract a Paralegal to join DWF, an award-winning legal business.
In house Paralegal within the Satellite Litigation Unit (SLU)
This is a unique opportunity, being in house for a high profile insurance client, we are the face of DWF. We deal with the recovery of subrogated losses and uninsured losses deriving from road traffic accidents.
All Paralegals in the team deal with claims at both the pre- litigation and litigation stages. The majority of claims fall within the small claims track, however we also deal with fast track claims.
The role will offer you the opportunity to progress cases under supervision, to an effective and satisfactory conclusion, ensuring high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally, whilst providing and maintaining management information under the terms of the client service level agreement.
Develop a working knowledge of the Visualfiles and CCS system
Ability to manage a caseload and work to deadlines
Dealing with incoming and outgoing communication via post, email and telephone
Drafting legal documents
Offer advice to insurer client as and when required
Deliver results within required time frames

A similar background in a legal environment would be ideal. Ideally Insurance and small claims background and experience, from a claimant perspective.
