We are currently looking to find a QS, or Intermediate Level QS, who is ready for next step, to work as part of the CP6 Lot 1 SNE Framework Renewals Delivery Team.

Role will be Scotland (Kilsyth office, nr Glasgow) based but with an expectation of travel and or extended location on sites within Network Rail’s Scotland Region.

Your mission

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the team, responsibilities will include : -

  • Monthly cost reporting, inclusive of cost forecasting, cashflow and turnover forecasting, commercial planning, cost monitoring
  • Subcontract Procurement
  • Change Management
  • Management and Development of Junior QS's
  • Who are we looking for?

    The following are mandatory requirements :

  • To the standard of Member of CICES or RICS.
  • Successful experience at Section QS level.
  • Evidence of involvement in and understanding of basic contract law and contractual obligations.
