Part-time Account Manager (Home working for 3 days)
£25,000 (to be pro-rata'd down to 3 days)
Needs to live within 30 mins of Manchester
This is a great opportunity for someone to join a fantastic charity doing very important work for employees in the marketing and media industry specifically.
You will be responsible for supporting the Director in key fundraising activities to ensure they achieve their targets.
You must be able to speak publicly to groups of people and be an ambassador for the charity, manage systems, be creative with a budget and deliver on KPI's.
Work closely with the Regional Director to deliver against key fundraising and engagement strategy targets, to ensure the organisation meets its 2020 vision.
Embracing media owners and agencies in the regions
To drive our Ambassador Programme in the regions.
Lead coordinator on Regional events programme - including Talks, Speed Mentoring etc.
This programme gives our community outside London access to some of the most creative minds in media and advertising and beyond.
These evening talks require full event co-ordination, including harnessing our relationships to source venues (i), planning skills (speaker proposals and sourcing and agent management) and working in external venues with 3rd party suppliers.
Ensuring high standards of operations are in place across areas of responsibility including but not limited to events procedures, data recording and liaising with the Marketing and Insights team to help drive sales and the Events team in managing the Regional events programme
To provide regular updates and status reports to Regional Director to ensure that the Director of Strategic Partnerships can be fully appraised of work in progress.
Also to be in day to day control of the budget ensuring co-ordination and updates to the wider team including finance.
To work closely with the Partnerships Co-ordinator, and Senior Partnerships Manager in London to ensure the coordination of relationship information and processes across the team
To work closely with the Services team to help coordinate delivery of master classes in Manchester and Edinburgh
To provide excellent client management over the phone and on email and face to face with all external partners and supporters.
Database management - ensuring that all activity is inputted correctly and stored in the right way across the organisation according to strategy, is up to date
Essential criteria :
Excellent administrative and budget management skills
Data literate with very good understanding and working knowledge of databases / Microsoft excel / word
Comfortable in presenting to large teams
Evidence of strong organisational skills and time management skills e.
managing multiple projects with multiple managers
Evidence of strong verbal and written communication
A commitment to working within the organisation's stated values
Desirable criteria :
Good working knowledge of the advertising and media industry including its changing landscape and demonstrable understanding of the structure of agencies and media owners
Data management experience
Experience of managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels i.
junior to senior
Solid knowledge of financial systems
