We’re currently on the lookout for a Retail Account Director who has heaps of experience working with big name brands across multiple retail spaces.
As part of this role, you will be working as a direct extension of the client’s team so we need someone with passion, determination and an abundance of enthusiasm for retail.
You’ll need to be organised, resilient and able to work under pressure in a fast paced and exciting environment.
A glimpse at the role
Overseeing all planning, strategy and implementation of marketing activity spanning seasonal campaigns, brand activations, and day-to-day projects working closely with a global travel retail specialist client
Working collaboratively and efficiently as part of a specialist team dedicated to servicing a global travel retail client to further strengthen the partnership and act as a brand ambassador within the agency
Ability to fast-track urgent jobs through different agency departments spanning content, creative and digital
Management of the client relationship with regular client meetings in Birmingham and Bristol to seamlessly align both teams
Overseeing the development of project briefs ensuring that all client projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines facilitating a blended approach
Working closely with with the Client Services Director to take responsibility for the client relationship and to develop innovative ways to drive the account’s growth
Leading on all client meetings and briefings for this account with support from an account manager
Responsible for researching and understanding all aspects of the travel retail industry, trends, insights and news

Salary - £40-£60k depending on experience
What we’re looking for...
Experience in an Account Director role in an agency environment
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the retail industry, and experience of working with multiple retail based clients on a global level
Travel retail experience desired, but not required
Senior level strategising and planning skills
Significant experience in professional client management experience
A keen eye for detail
Excellent listening and presentation abilities
A resilient and confident leader, but also a team player
