Position summary :
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of a multi-forest Windows Active Directory environment, including DFS, DNS and DHCP services.
This includes the provisioning, installation / configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of various Windows Server based systems.
The candidate should be experienced in supporting multi-vendor virtualization technologies and server hardware environments.
The candidate should also display the ability to work in a large scale, fast paced, and cross-functional team environment.
Position Responsibilities :
Perform basic Active Directory administration tasks such as ID creation, group management, and folder access administration.
Troubleshoot Active Directory domain issues including DFS, DNS and DHCP
Provide Tier III support for a variety of products and technologies by investigating and troubleshooting incidents and issues to resolution and providing well documented status updates.
Participate in Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management calls.
Required Technical Skills :
Advanced working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 environments
Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory, DFS, DNS, and DHCP technologies
Advanced Active Directory ID and Security Group management experience
Basic knowledge of Office 365 / 2016 and below
Basic working knowledge of networking concepts such as subnetting and routing
Ability to navigate VMWare vSphere virtual environments
Good working knowledge of Service Now or other equivalent incident management tools
IT Service Desk experience required, in Windows Desktop and Server environments.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Technical Skills :
Active Directory GPO, DNS, and DHCP management experience
Good understanding of Firewall rule implementation & troubleshooting
Public Cloud Computing knowledge such as Azure and AWS
Administrative scripting experience with PowerShell
Experience with Symantec VIP MFA
Experience with CyberArk or other password vaulting solutions
Basic working knowledge of the implementation of SSL Certificates
Experience using diagnostic, monitoring and change management tools.

The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
Exhibits a strong desire to learn new technologies and is genuinely interested in growing their technical acumen.
Able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization

Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
3 years + of general experience in one or more IT Functions
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions :
Responsibilities may require working evenings / weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice
May be required to work on an on-call rotation as required.
No regular travel.
