Position : EMEA Marketing Financial Controller
Location : Haddenham
The individual will act as business partner and Finance lead for EMEA Marketing. The role is responsible for identifying opportunities for strategic business growth and to evaluate medium- and long-term opportunities.
The individual is key member of the EMEA Consumer Finance team driving the broader EMEA Consumer agenda with Country Finance Directors.
Governance and controls Ensure all business activities and related processes are undertaken in compliance with appropriate internal controls and SOX.
Business Planning Manage and review long term business objectives through Long Term plan and Budget whilst keeping an eye on the short term through Quarterly forecasts and Opportunities and Risks which support the overall corporate financial objectives.
Focus on continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
Business Support Support and challenge the EMEA marketing team through relevant actionable reporting and insight through facilitation of pan-EMEA category / brand level reporting.
Highlighting key areas of focus and prioritization driving for results. Being able to indirectly influence markets across the region
Investment appraisal Support EMEA Marketing and commercial teams on prioritization and evaluation of Advertising and Promotion, New product development and capital expenditure
Business Improvement Drive a continuous improvement mindset through the finance team and the broader organization. Highlighting areas for improvement and delivering efficiency benefits through the teams
Team Management Lead and develop the EMEA Marketing finance team.
Support the EMEA commercial finance director and lead / support regional projects / initiatives
Degree educated with appropriate Accounting Qualification.
Member of a certified accounting body (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA).
Broad finance experience supporting a variety of functions in a fast paced environment.
FMCG experience, understanding the dynamics of the market, customers and consumer needs.
Experience in business partnering roles of increasing seniority and responsibility.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience of interaction at board level necessary.
Demonstrated strategic thinking ability.
