Why this role matters

I lead converting the Enterprise strategic goal of becoming Data Driven’ into a business plan and set of delivery programmes for the Enterprise Data team.

I am responsible for engaging the business to build a pipeline of programmes which leverage data to deliver business value (customer, commercial & cost).

Enabling Enterprise to become a data driven organisation will unlock significant competitive advantage and drive business growth, improved customer experience and increased cost efficiency.

Data Governance is the orchestration of people, process and technology to create data assets which add business value.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage the governance of Data across Enterprise :
  • o Monitor overall data quality

    o Manage / track data risks and issues

    o Co-ordinate key projects across Enterprise Data, Reporting and System teams

  • Engage with the business units across Enterprise to define data projects which will add value to the business
  • Manage the Enterprise Data team budget and benefit plans, working in partnership with the central project office and finance teams
  • Manage the delivery of strategic data programmes
  • Track data and insight usage, performance and commercial value.
  • Manage processes to ensure data usage complies with regulations and internal policies.
  • Master common data definitions and monitor data quality and integrity.
