Description

We are looking for Pro-active, friendly and professional people to join our team of Recreation Assistants working in the a busy and rewarding leisure centre.

Applicants should have good customer service skills and be a team player. Full training given including the Lifeguard qualification, so you will need to be a competent swimmer.

Obtaining the NPLQ qualification will not only secure you a job working for us, it will provide you with essential life skills which you will be able to use throughout your career.

The course comprises of 5 full days training, and you would need to be committed and available for the whole duration.

Our next course dates :

October 7th & 9th, 15th & 16th and 21st & 22nd.

16th to 21st December

We are looking for people who have the following attributes :

  • An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry

    Hours : 40hrs a week, Monday to Sunday - Rota basis to include evenings and weekends

    Requirements

  • NPLQ and First Aid at Work is desirable - however training to be provided.
  • To supervise and assist the leisure centre customers
  • To be responsible for the users of the swimming pool, ensuring an enjoyable visit is had by all
  • To be a proactive member of the leisure centre team
  • Customer service understanding and awareness
  • An appreciation and awareness of industry developments, new activities, trends and research
