What you will be doing

Being primarily responsible for commercially managing and monitoring the supply chain you will be accountable for vendors including Dell, Lenovo and HP and all rebate bearing service partners, distributors and suppliers.

Responsibilities include :

  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms from all vendors, partners and suppliers ensuring that terms are competitive and matched in with ITS commercial objectives
  • Creating mutually agreed Business Plans with key suppliers in order to deliver Strategic Procurement objectives
  • Providing leadership, management and motivation to the vendor and partner support teams
  • Conducting regular reviews and QBR’s with key vendors, partners and suppliers
  • Evaluating and introducing to Procurement relevant new vendors, partners and suppliers
  • Managing the ASL and working with the Purchasing function to ensure that goods and services are procured from the routes that deliver the greatest profitability
  • Continually monitoring all rebate programs and chasing collection of back-end margin / rebate
  • Tactically sourcing of products through channel contacts at more preferential pricing
  • You will ideally have...

  • A keen interest or previous experience within an IT Sales environment with knowledge of aspects of the IT Channel
  • Capability to liaise with vendors, distributors and suppliers
  • Good commercial capability of managing supply chain to maximise margin
  • Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible team worker with proven ability to deliver and work under pressure
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both internally and with external vendors / suppliers
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
