Key Responsibilities :
This role will be to support each team within the Transport office, whilst gaining experience with Customer Service, Planning, De-briefs and Reports.
Debriefing drivers run sheets onto the Transport Management System (TMS)
Booking orders with customers in line with the distribution plan
Creating daily / weekly / monthly reports for each customer.
Dealing with customer delivery queries
Liaising with our MV2 site to ensure they have the correct information for their customer.
Manifesting orders in the TMS to keep a steady flow of work for the warehouse.
Liaising with Sub Contractors with regards to delivery times and Proof of deliveries.
Knowledge, skills and experience :
Previous experience within a Transport environment would be advantageous
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
Computer literate and have a good understanding of MS Office applications.
Able to work well as part of a team in a busy office environment.
Able to work to tight deadlines and manage their own time effectively.
