You are assigned a territory and are responsible for driving all the business in that territory yes, you will have back office support from the local branch but you are the driving force and you get to enjoy the benefits that come from hard work and focus.
A typical day for a Personal Move Consultant
Getting out into the community and knocking on doors to let people know what the state of the property market is and to identify and help prospective customers.
Carrying out a property valuation for a prospective customer and advising them on the best pricing and marketing strategy in order to get them what they want.
Attending community networking events.
Posting videos on social media that put the spotlight on brilliant local businesses, schools or charity events to show that you are an active member of the community to build your brand.
Producing video tours of properties that you are selling in order to generate interest and to enhance your profile within the community.
Getting on the phone to let customers know about properties that might be of interest to them and arranging and conducting viewings.
Updating the customer contact system (nicknamed Rosie’) and following up on leads that come in and carrying out the contact strategies that it suggests.
Delivering information packs to customers ahead of your valuation appointments in order to give them what they need ahead of the meeting.
You will be good at
Connecting with people and having great conversations that enable you to understand their needs.
Producing social media content that highlights your local knowledge and gets across your engaging personality.
Being comfortable in front of a camera for video content.
Pitching a sales proposition that matches the customer’s needs and closing with a premium fee.
Following up on leads and sticking with them long term until you get a result.
Being coached be open to constructive feedback and actively seek out new information to improve your performance.
Communicating, whether that be on the phone or via email and text.
Working remotely and the ability to get on and deliver without close supervision.
Assessing data and information and applying it to show your expertise You don’t need to be a math’s genius, but you do need to be able to answer the question, How’s the market?

What you will need
Three years of sales experience where you have developed your skills. This could well be in the area of estate agency or it might be in any industry where you can show that you have the skills and attitude that we are looking for e.
g. retail, car sales, hospitality etc.
