Job Title : Automated Parking Function Delivery Owner

Job Salary : £45k-£50k per annum (dependent upon experience)
The successful candidate will have acquired professional experience in ADAS or robotics industry through professional roles.
They will join a growing team of enthusiastic engineers, part of a multi-location project dedicated in delivering the best in class automated parking and low speed manoeuvring systems.
As a function owner, the successful candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for their function (requirements covering the chain of effects of a single function taken in isolation, integrated in overall system and in vehicle).
They will be the main technical interface for their function between the algorithm / software core team and the project management / customer.
Responsible for requirements engineering (L1-L3), incl. requirements alignments with customer.
Responsible for performance (KPIs), requirements and quality measures.
Responsible for all planning activities regarding their function.
Responsible for delivery of the committed function performance within the planned time and quality.
Responsible for regular status reporting to the project management and line management.
Responsible for problem resolution of the function (e.g. problem reports).
Responsible for initiating patent research, review of existing patents, push application of new patents.
Support the function’s roadmap activities by defining different variants of the function and evolution over time.
Support quotes (analysis, commenting and approval of the function requirements of the customer requirements specification).
Support acquisition (customer communication, e.g. expert workshops).
Support and approve functional Architecture (L1 L3).
Support and approve function Interface FMEA (S-FMEA).
Support and approve HARA / safety concept.
Support and approve validation concept for the function, incl. validation report.
MSc in computer science, robotics, electronic engineering or comparable education.
Experience with automotive development process.
Experience with collaborative development and source control software.
Experience with Agile methodology.
Good comprehension and analytical thinking, strong mathematical ability.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent English language skills.
Experience with computational geometry and map data processing.
Good understanding of machine learning algorithms.
Good understanding of computer vision algorithms.
C / C++ programming skills, preferably in embedded.
Experience in developing and debugging object-oriented embedded software in real-time.
Knowledge of Linux C++ programming environment (Unix command line, CMake, GCC ).
Knowledge of MS Visual Studio C++ project maintenance.
