Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated Support Workers to care and support our service users living in Weymouth, Dorchester and the surrounding areas.

The role

As a Support Worker your responsibilities will include; assisting with person-centred daily tasks, helping with clinical requirements, social activities and any other additional services that will enable dignified and independent living.

  • Requirements

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 months previous care experience
  • Certification in practical Moving & Handling course, completed in the last 12 months
  • The desire to work to enrich the lives of the sick or vulnerable
  • Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the HealthForceGo® app
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
  • Our local Yeovil team is situated at Telstar House on Mead Avenue in Yeovil.
