As a Community Carer, you will support people in their homes and communities in the Liverpool area, including Croxteth, Dovecot and Deysbrook.

We are looking for caring and compassionate, values driven individuals to join Be Caring as Community Carers.

As a Community Carer, you will connect people to their communities, work with individuals and their families and provide outstanding person-centred care that promotes independence and reablement.

You will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs around medication, washing and dressing, cooking, cleaning, shopping and promoting access to community groups and services.

Hours : Full-time Part-time

Shifts : You will work on a week 1, week 2 shift pattern, which will include working 1 full weekend

4-5 full days per week - Full-time 2-3 full days per week - Part-time


Agreed working shift patterns working 4-5 full day for full time and 2 days per week for part time, earning £18,949 when working 40hrs per week and £9,475 per year if working 20hrs per week (£8.

91 / hr + 20p visit payment) - 40p per mile for drivers

Eligibility Required

Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.

Experience Required

Previous care experience is not essential; we are looking for people who can live our values.

We are actively seeking to recruit both experienced and non experienced colleague to join our team and simply ask that you are genuinely caring and compassionate with a drive to make a difference to the lives of those who we support in our local communities.

  • We provide full training and support for everyone who joins Be Caring, which includes comprehensive induction training on;
  • community and individual wellbeing, fluids and nutrition, medication, moving and handling, basic life support and first aid, infection prevention and control, professional boundaries, safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity.

    The Role

    As a Community Carer, you will be kind and compassionate, building caring and supportive relationships with the people you support and their families.

    You will deliver personalised care and support to people in their homes. You will place dignity at the heart of the care you provide, maximising independence through enabling approaches and building care and support networks for individuals, involving family and friends and their local community.

    We are looking for people who can work independently and as part of a team. You will be empowered to make decisions that improve the lives of people we support.

    We need people with strong communication skills, who can respond quickly to situations and share relevant information appropriately.

    Typical care and support tasks within a care plan include; personal care, including intimate care, administration / prompting of medication, preparation of meals / drinks, completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping, and promoting access to, and attendance at community groups and activities.

    If you are successful in appointment of this position, you will be supported by your local Quality and Co-ordination team and our in-house Trainer, to ensure you have tools and resources needed to do fulfil your role and to Be the Best you can be'.

    You will be supported to complete; induction training (paid) classroom trainer led and online e-learning at home, Care Certificate (completed over a 12-week period), Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (fully funded after six-month probation period) and additional level 2 and 3 accredited qualifications and certificates relevant to the role.
