Becoming a Clinical Governance Officer with Capita Primary Care Support England (PCSE) :

Supporting the Clinical Governance Lead in the application and delivery of Clinical Governance across Primary Care Support England (PCSE), both in line with Capita policy, industry best practice, Government and NHS policy and NHS England contractual requirements.

£35k+ (+10% car allowance and other benefits)

Please note : You must be a registered health professional in order to be considered for this position.

What you will do :

  • Along with the Clinical Governance Lead provide support to PCSE staff and the client (NHSE) to ensure the effective maintenance of Clinical Governance principles and practice across PCSE.
  • Actively seek to increase awareness of Clinical Governance across PCSE, this will include being a trusted clinical role model, supporting training, and developing communication plans.
  • Engage with the Clinical Governance Business Support Analyst to support the production of timely, cost effective and high-
  • quality solutions to improvement of current processes or implement new ones, utilising their clinical knowledge to synthesis improvement suggestions.

  • Function as a change agent to suggest and apply improvements in systems, processes & procedures which require clinical input.
  • Either along with the Clinical Governance Lead or independently, represent the Clinical Governance team on committees, meetings, forums or other initiatives.
  • Provide clinical insight and support on clinical incident investigations, management, documentation and resolution.
  • Your experience will include :

    Public sector and NHS experience

    Clinical background and experience with a live recognised clinical professional qualification

    Experience of Clinical Governance

    Relationship and stakeholder management

    Commercial awareness

    Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

    Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level, including at Director Level.
