FP&A Associate at Checkout.com

Checkout.com are actively looking for a driven and energetic FP&A Associate to join the growingFinance team in our London office.

Reporting into a senior associate, you will support the production of budgets, forecasts, andanalysis, supporting departmental business partnering alongside communication and collaborationwith the wider central, operational, and strategic Finance teams.

The ideal candidate will be well organised, adaptable to the changing demands of the role, andcapable of independently working toward specific goals while maintaining the overall accuracy andalignment necessary for their work to be integrated into group reporting.

What you will be doing :

  • To support accurate and thorough financial analysis presented in a meaningful and focused way to enable decision makers within the organisation to make fully informed and financially sound decisions
  • To support the bi-annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes through the provision and collation of data across multiple sources (actuals, business estimates, data models, etc.)
  • To support the education of, and deliver training to, stakeholders in the compilation and management of their annual budgets, project budgets, forecasts, and inputs to financial models
  • To maintain and enhance the development of reporting tools (internally developed and external) to ensure budget holders have access to a useful and relevant self-service system that evolves with their needs over time, enabling to review their financials and improve their insight
  • To assist in the development of modelling for budget holders on financial matters, supporting and review the preparation of their business cases / plans
  • To work with the financial control team to obtain monthly / annual information for reporting purposes
  • About You :

  • Qualified or Finalist Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • 1-2 years’ experience with FP&A with specific involvement in a budgeting process
  • Experienced in managing large multicurrency datasets
  • Experience in preparing IFRS statutory accounts
  • Advanced user of MS Office and BI tools
  • Confident in presenting information
  • Flexible approach and eager to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Team player and strong Business Partner
  • A self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision, showing initiative to see tasks through from start to finish
