Duties and responsibilities

The role will be split between clinical and administration duties, normally 50 / 50 split, however this may vary due to department needs.

Clinical duties : To assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Non-Clinical duties : Preparing notes for clinics, clinical pathways, recording results and preparing surgery notes.

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant
  • Previous hospital experience (desirable)
  • Phlebotomy experience desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
