Job Duties :

PAYE : Processing weekly / monthly payroll returns for a portfolio of clients.

Submission of RTI returns and ensuring clients meet their pension obligations.

Corresponding with clients regarding payroll returns and liabilities.

VAT : Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for a portfolio of clients.

Submission of returns to HMRC.

Correspondence with clients regarding VAT affairs.

Other : General bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications / Experience :

The successful candidate will have :

Extensive experience of all aspects of payroll preparation and reporting.

Experience working in an accountancy practice environment dealing with Payroll and Bookkeeping.

Ability to work to strict deadlines with strong self-motivation skills.

GCSE Maths and English (grade B or above).

3 A-levels (grade C or above).

Desirable - Accountant Technician Qualification.
