Role : Receptionist

Location : Atlas Business Park, South Manchester (M22 5PR)

Salary : £19,000 - £20,000, plus excellent benefits package

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our Business Support function. Based in our office in South Manchester, you will be responsible for manning the reception desk, answering inbound calls and supporting the Office Manager as and when necessary.


We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is able to comfortably working on their own initiative in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities include :

  • Support office manager with external companies and individuals regarding office facilities, i.e. property landlord, managing agents, water, milk, cleaners, franking machine
  • Support office manager with maintaining office audit programme & oversight of processes
  • Answer inbound switchboard & email queries
  • Facilitate internal customer complaint process
  • Direct inbound calls & email queries to the relevant departments
  • Management of car parking where applicable
  • Greet office visitors and record their presence on site
  • General maintenance of the office, meeting rooms and kitchen area
  • Keep basic stock of office stationery and order additional items as required
  • Complete purchase orders as required
  • Co-ordinate and distribute incoming / external mail
  • General admin duties as and when required
  • Provide a professional reception coverage throughout the day, including post, faxes, couriers, telephone cover and access to the office
  • Manage inbound Customer Service emails

    Candidate requirements include :

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Word / Excel
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong customer service skills (verbal & face to face)
  • Ability to analyse and prioritise workload
  • Ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer service
