We require an enthusiastic Retail Team Leader for the shops at Tate Britain. You will be responsible for opening and closing the shops, and supervising daily operations so at least six months experience at senior sales or supervisory level, ideally gained in the heritage sector or a high profile retailer, is important.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with proven experience of leading teams and the ability to delegate to Retail Assistants, and communicate confidently at all levels.
You must be passionate about raising revenue for Tate, be an ambassador for the brand and demonstrate exemplary behaviour in all areas of your job, being a role model to staff and a support to management.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively, independent of supervision, be self-motivated and a proven problem-
solver. We are looking for someone who is flexible, resourceful and loves a challenge. You will be able to inspire and motivate teams to provide great customer service, and have the ability to oversee multiple shops when acting as duty manager.
You will need to be able to work weekends and bank holidays and occasional evenings.
The ideal candidate will have had exposure to a wide range of products from fast moving pocket money goods, to limited edition and high-
