The Headteacher of a large Primary School in Blackpool is looking for a dynamic class teacher to join their KS2 Team. The role is full time Monday-Friday teaching a class of Y4 pupils who are eager to learn! This is a large Primary School in Blackpool serving a mixed catchment area.
The school is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Preston, Fleetwood, Lytham, Kirkham, Garstang and Lancaster.
The Headteacher is committed to whole school improvement and is keen to secure a teacher with a strong academic background, preferable somebody who has experience working within a central school due to schools mixed catchment area.
this is reflective of the re-bust behaviour management strategies consistently implemented across the school by all staff.
The Headteacher encourages collaborative planning to reduce the teacher s workload and develop best practice across Key Stage 2.
The Role :
This position has cropped up due to a recent resignation and the school are keen to appoint a teacher who would be interested in a permanent role within their staff team.
planning, delivering and assessing the children in line with the local framework and the National Curriculum. Candidates must hold strong subject knowledge in all curriculum areas especially in Maths, Reading and Writing.
The pay and working hours :
The rate of pay will reflect the role and also the level of experience of the successful applicant. It is expected to fall within the bracket of £90-£140 per day, based on a 6.
5 hour working day. To confirm also, this is a full-time role to start ASAP. The expectation is that the role will continue until July 2021 with the view to extend into the 2020 / 21 academic year onto a school contract.
