Job Description

The Sales Support Executive role supports a business unit sales team, who are selling across different regions, multiple events and customers.

This role will provide structured sales administration support, data analysis and floorplan management. The Sales Operations Executing will also be responsible for financial, sales and pipelines reporting.

The Vitafoods portfolio is operating in the heart of the nutraceuticals industry and connects the entire supply chain. The portfolio consists of the following brands :

  • Vitafoods Europe hybrid event in Geneva, Switzerland
  • Vitafoods Asia hybrid event in Singapore
  • Vitafoods Insights 365 digital content platform
  • Vitafoods Insights Virtual Expo global digital event
  • The successful candidate will be based in the Blackfriars, London office (currently working remotely) and report to the Events Excellence Manager.

    Sales Enablement

  • Provides administrative support to the sales team including processing contracts for invoicing, raising co-exhibitor contracts, adding country pavilion exhibitors into Salesforce etc.
  • Actively looking at Salesforce to observe usage, movement of Sales opportunities to ensure accurate reporting
  • Develop and deliver targeted sales activities in line with channel and segment strategies such as mailing lists.
  • Responsible for inputting sponsorship orders and additional fees into Salesforce when required
  • Work closely with the Billing teams (responsible for invoicing and credit control) to ensure all contract and client enquires have been dealt with.
  • Reporting

  • Responsible for updating the weekly Exhibitor List and circulating to internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Responsible for creating the weekly sales reports highlighting sqm and revenue achieved towards the targets
  • Works closely with the Events Excellence Manager to set up the rebooking process for next event edition, including comms plan, floor plan, management of onsite Sales Lounge set up etc.
  • Helps discover and enable sales through sales analysis sharing trends with Events Excellence Manager related to opportunities lost, competitive analysis, etc
  • Assist in the management and roll out of sales performance analysis and reporting dashboards.
  • Works with the regional CRM team to communicate enhancements in Salesforce to the Sales teams
  • Provides and track Salesforce training for on boarding new hires and continuing user education
  • Responsible for deployment and set up of next event cycles and Sales Campaigns on Salesforce including contract templates, T&Cs, pricelists etc.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Salesforce business process for sales teams
  • Other

  • Assist in the development and roll out of sales tools and platforms to improve sales team efficiency and commercial effectiveness, providing comprehensive training and inductions where required.
  • Key liaison point with Customer Service and Event Operations team for customer data and event floor plan queries
  • Ability to travel to Vitafoods events to support team on rebooking process and ensure smooth delivery where required
  • Qualifications

  • 3-4 years’ experience with Salesforce CRM or in a sales support role
  • Understanding of B2B events and sales cycle.
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills, confident personality, high level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to multitask, re-assess priorities and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Outstanding numeracy, accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Advanced level on Excel & experience of CRM systems with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data sets to deliver insights.
  • Proven experience in improving and implementing sales processes to deliver more efficient ways of working.
  • Ability to engage with team, customers, management, and sales.
  • Proven financial analytical skills.
  • Result-oriented, resourceful, and practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Customer orientated mindset.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Well organised and good time management.
  • Desired :

  • Experience in VAT and tax rules
  • Experience with Expocad, A2Z or similar floor planning tools.
  • Line management experience
