Job Description :
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks both in the work we do for clients and in supporting your internal teams.
You will be working at the second Account Director level (there are three Senior Consultant levels) where you will be responsible for the management of specific client programmes and for developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
As a Senior Consultant at HAVAS Just : : you have a pivotal role to play in the success and smooth running of the agency.
You will be involved in decisions that affect the company as a whole, as well as those that impact specifically on your accounts.
As well as leading your account teams, you have line management responsibility for at least two Consultants or Junior Consultants.
SCs are expected to support each other as a team and share advice and experiences without being prompted.
Supporting client business directly
accountable for the delivery of one large or more than one medium size client programmes with support from Director / Client Director
accountable for the quality of work across your client programme and setting and maintaining high QC standards across the agency
accountable for organic growth of client programme
set and continually reassess the strategy for the programme, adjusting as required
be fully immersed in the client’s business priorities, objectives and broader disease area / environment
scan the horizon to inform you / the team / the client of relevant broader environmental issues and coach others to do so
demonstrate creative thinking individually and coach the team to do so, plus sell new ideas to the client
set the tone and pace of your account team and represent the account in broader business / resourcing decisions
proactively seek new business and credentials opportunities
participate in new business pitch process and presentations lead sections with minimal Director overview and support
confident client counsel including challenging the client appropriately to ensure best possible outcome
manage challenging situations / conversations proactively and coach your team to do the same
develop and maintain close client relationships to become trusted partner / advisor
build relationships at client company beyond main contacts to identify growth opportunities and to deepen understanding of client business
effective financial management of client business in line with Havas Just : : financial procedures and coaching of other team members
accountable for positive financial health of your client programme
effective resource planning including seeking solutions to challenges, looking beyond your own accounts to the broader resourcing of the agency and setting tone during resourcing discussions
lead one of our non-client responsibilities e.g. marketing, HAVAS network, pro-bono work, media insights and manage budget associated with the NCR
lead credentials meetings and cross-selling to clients
add value to the business operations supporting the smooth running of the agency, spot challenges and issues and proactively present solutions to SLT
develop and maintain positive relationships with third parties i.e. other HAVAS agencies, suppliers etc.
bring outside inspiration / contacts / new knowledge into the agency
lead, motivate and empower junior team members ensuring that they have appropriate learning / development opportunities
challenge others to find solutions before providing input
ensure coaching behaviours are developed across your teams
effective management of team, including delegation and briefing, both up and down
give feedback to others in the team both proactively and at review time
be responsible for the line management of at least two team members and accountable for their development
work with the other SCs to support and share best practice / key learnings, coaching SC1s in their role
look beyond account teams and keep finger on pulse of health of the broader team proactively raising concerns and providing solutions to SLT
