We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team here at Attimore Veterinary Group.

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week Monday- Friday between the practice opening hours of 8 : 30am - 8 : 00pm, plus a share in the Saturday and bank holiday rota.

As a receptionist you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well within a team, sometimes under high pressure.

Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential. You will mainly be based at our Veterinary Hospital in Welwyn Garden City, but will also be required to travel to our 3 branch sites in Potters Bar, Wheathampstead & Woolmer Green.

Therefore, a full driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this position.

Main duties would include :

  • Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests.
  • Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries.
  • Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable.
  • Cleaning duties are involved.
