Due to the expansion of the team and increased workloads there is an opportunity for an associate lawyer to join us. We are seeking a lawyer with between 1-3 PQE, ideally with existing experience in general succession planning and estate administration work, but looking to develop this in our broad based team.
A position exists for a technically strong, personable and ambitious lawyer, looking to pursue a career in our private client team.
The successful candidate will join one of the top ranked personal tax and trust teams in the South East outside London.
The Personal Tax, Trusts & Charities team consists of five partners and sixteen other lawyers / advisers and is highly rated in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.
A number of partners and lawyers in the team are recommended as leaders in their field, and the team has recently won two national awards.
The team’s clients are spread throughout the UK and overseas and include clients in the Sunday Times Rich List.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for a strong team player with good inter-personal skills, strong academics and high quality experience typically with a major City or leading national / regional practice.
Excellent communication skills are a must. An appetite for business development would be a definite advantage.
Candidates should have a general track record in private client work. Prior exposure to the areas outlined above would be preferred, but this is not essential for the correct candidate.
