Managed Service Development Product Manager

Why this role matters
We’re looking for an awesome individual to lead on the development of one or more new managed capabilities, Service Set-
up, Professional Services, Digital, Service Assurance and / or Innovation which underpin our new managed services. These capabilities need to be re-
usable across all our product categories such as Networking, Voice, Contact Centres, Mobile, Cloud, Security and Internet of Things (IoT).

Your objective is to develop one or more new ITIL-based managed capabilities, which will shape our managed services of today, to those of the future and provide a common managed service across all our underlying product categories.
With the digital transformation of managed services well underway you will be leading one of the most important capabilities in our portfolio.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be responsible for developing the managed service wrap for one or more underlying product categories; what the benefit will be for the customer, and what we will need to do to make using that managed service as easy and simple as possible.
You’ll have access to CEO’s and MDs across BT, as you pitch what we want to do, why and how we will do it. You’ll have the support of people from across the business, and access to great tools such as Facebook Workplace and Microsoft Teams to call upon as you join an environment where collaboration is actively practiced and encouraged.
You’ll be : Working with proposition and product teams to shape and define a world-class managed service for underlying product categories.
Working with leading vendor technologies and management toolsets in order to identify the art of the possible to deliver innovative managed capabilities.
Creating the managed service development roadmap for the underlying product categories to take us on the journey to a world-
class managed service. Working with finance and commercial teams to understand costs, prices and build business cases Working with our extensive technology, customer experience, service and sales teams to figure out how we make using the managed capabilities as easy and simple as possible for our customers and ourselves.
Taking ownership of your managed service and applying your managed service principles amongst a team of like-minded people who want to deliver the best for our customers and our colleagues.

Experience of working in managed services including understanding of the market and competitors A creative mind able to think innovatively and drive product evolution.
Great communication skills with the ability to excite and engage stakeholders Able to build a compelling business case leading to buy-
in and investment Able to take a collaborative approach, with both internal and external suppliers, ensuring that everyone is clear on what needs to be delivered, when and why.
Product management and development, managing across multiple stakeholders and delivering on time.
