Role Responsibility :
The Security Services Manager oversees the day to day operational contracted security services at the high-profile site of HalifaxStanfield International Airport.
This position works closely with the Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) Security Managers to achieve the objectives of the airport security program.
The ideal candidate will be an engaging and motivated leader who is innovative and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications Required :
Experience : Security related experience as a security supervisor or security manager with knowledge of and experience with electronic security systems, e.
g. access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarms. Aviation security experience is an asset, but not required.
Training : Must be able to successfully pass required internal training programs including the HIAA AVSEC Course, Assistance of Persons with Disabilities, The Stanfield Way workshop, Human Factors, and Halifax Stanfield Airside Vehicle Operators Permit.
Clearance : Must be able to successfully obtain a Transportation Security Clearance and Transport Canada Secret Clearance (both clearances require a clear criminal background).
Communication skills : Strong problem solving and customer service skills including excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
Computer literacy : Minimum of intermediate-level competency with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
