JOB DETAILA fantastic opportunity for an IT Analyst has arisen to provide 2nd Line support at our food manufacturing facility at Group Services, Spalding, working in a desk-
based position, in a busy and varied role.You will be involved in IT support for a large, global company with various offices, providing top level IT Support.
QUALIFICATIONS & CRITEREON : Keen interest in technologyExperience of working in an IT support environmentHigh degree of technical knowledge in end user computing, mobile and fixed telephony, printers and business applicationsAble to work to tight timescales and deliver on scheduleCustomer service focussedExcellent communicator both with internal IS staff and business colleagues The role of the IS Analyst : Their aim is to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimise any adverse effect on business operations.
This makes sure that the best possible levels of service quality and availability are returned and maintained.They aim to resolve and control the root causes of incidents caused by errors within the IT infrastructure and applications.
They also work to prevent the reoccurrence of these incidents.They are responsible for identifying risks for team owned services as defined in the Service Catalogue.
Support Analysts must be responsible for testing new / changed services, firmware and application upgrades and transition of new services to operational support,The role holder must adhere to IS and company policies, procedures, audit and legal requirements.
