About the Opportunity :
As our UKIE HR Services Operations Lead you will partner the local business and provide value added services to key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the effective operational management and jointly with the Shared Service Centre delivery of activities that support the employee life-cycle.
Also you will be responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of business processes / procedures and monitoring HRS projects and workflow.
Ensure that the HRS processes in scope are performed with an end to end perspective as per the Core Model making effective use of global tools and systems.
Monitor KPIs and ensure that issues are addressed in an effective and timely manner. Manages the Payroll team in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR / Payroll projects and activities.
Provides leadership in coordinating the activities of the HRS team to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies and regulations
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the relationship with key stakeholders at cluster or country level and provide front line services as per Service Level Agreements in complement to activities performed by the Shared Service Centre
Manage the implementation of HR Services policies and processes to ensure consistent, accurate and compliant application within HR Services across the MCO UK / IE
Work with the Payroll Partner to ensure seamless payroll processing
Contribute to business reviews and other leadership and governance boards
Ensure compliance of processes, transactions and reports with Sanofi policies and guidelines including data privacy (ie GDPR etc)
Supervise and manage the HR Services team (Operations and Payroll)Select and hire employeesEvaluate employee performance, determine training needs, develop talentAddress performance issues and make recommendations for personnel actionsEnhance individual and collective performance and employee satisfactionMotivate and reward employees by recommending salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines
Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities
Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition
Participate in global or regional projects as required
Prepare periodic reporting and ad-hoc reports
To excel in this role, you will need to have :
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Relevant experience of working within a large-scale multinational organisation
Strong understanding of the end-to-end HR Services processes including payroll processes
Knowledge of data privacy rules (GDPR etc) relating to HR operations
Ability to get into transactional details but also understand the broader business context and root cause
Flexible and adaptable to changing business environments and requirements
Strong project management skills
Good understanding of HR Applications (preferably Workday) and IT tools
Strong customer orientation with ability to understand and meet their requirements
Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end to end service delivery mindset
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and processes
Ability to motivate the team to deliver high quality service and customer satisfaction
Strong communication skills and ability to drive change
Committed and focused on results delivery
Manage partially remotely
