Hello. We’re Severn Trent, a FTSE 100 company, and we think water is amazing.
Our purpose is to take care of one of life’s essentials and we do this by providing clean water and waste water services and developing renewable energy solutions through our regulated and non-regulated businesses across the UK.
As one of only three listed water stocks in the UK, we offer a valuable combination of reliable earnings, long term asset growth and an inflation-linked dividend.
We have a high degree of certainty over a five-year period, with revenue now set for 2020 to 2025, though with increasing levels of incentivisation, which we have historically benefited from.
Severn Trent Water is the largest of our regulated businesses, serving 4.6 million households and businesses across the Midlands.
We have a turnover of more than £1.6 billion, operating profits of over £500 million, over 5,800 employees and are one of the largest of the regulated water and wastewater companies in the UK.
Our Welsh customers are served through a separate business; Hafren Dyfrdwy. We also have a small but growing non-regulated business, primarily focused on renewable energy, long term operating contracts, and property development.
But above all else, we are a company with social purpose at its heart, committed to delivering better outcomes, not just for investors, but for our customers, colleagues, communities and the environment.
This broad focus motivates us to achieve our objectives in a sustainable way and promotes the long term success of our company.
