We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Retail Assistant
To give great customer service by ensuring that you role model the Service Behaviours and make the customer the priority at all times.
To role model the right behaviour and skills, to your colleagues, at all times.
To assist the section manager with the daily running of the unit.
Ensure that the sales / floor team are delivering great customer service by completing the service observations and giving priority to the customer service required on the department.
Make sure that the required standards of attitude and shop-keeping standards are met by the completion of the daily tasks giving time and accountability to achieve the required checks. E.g .HSE, HACCP etc.
Respond and deal with questions, concerns and complaints from customers, offering the best resolution to the situation and reporting to your manager.
Support your section manager to control and manage the sales floor staffing models, holiday planning and booking, assisting the section manager to deliver the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
Develop a clear understanding and actively contribute to the till management strategy for your department, improving results, complying with till checks and supporting the section manager with completing full compliance.
Implement layouts accurately, Action guidelines, Maintain pricing and ticketing standards and assist with the compilation of the weekly compliance.
As a Customer service assistant you may be required to work in another unit and not just your section.
As a Customer service assistant you will deliver a fully operational role with department accountability. This will include all areas of the sales floor operation.
Your hours of work will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they reflect the needs of the Customer service assistant role.
You will be assessed by your Manager in your role as a Customer service assistant to ensure the required standards are consistently met.
You will not be required to perform any Line Management functions as a Customer service assistant unless trained and directed to do so by your manager, but you will be required to give instruction & support your colleagues.
Awareness of food & hygiene standards
Must have a 'Can do' attitude
Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare environment and has a flexible approach to work
Previous retail / Catering experience and knowledge is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
