We are looking for a Medicines Assurance Lead to manage all aspects of clinical and non-clinical risks linked to medicines management.
You will work closely with the Directors of Pharmacy and Regulatory Compliance and Assurance in order to manage audits around the safe and secure storage of medicines, controlled drugs and record keeping.
You will be responsible for managing Trustwide actions plans and related projects to improve performance and meet the required standards.
This will offer the opportunity to work with multiple teams across the Trust e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy, Estates and Assurance.
The role will give you the opportunity to grow and develop your leadership and management skills whilst being supported by the Senior Pharmacy Managers, Divisional Directors of Nursing and the Assurance team.
To be successful you will need attention to detail, a desire to improve, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
You will share Oxford University Hospital’s vision and values whilst having sound understanding of medicines legislation gained through working with medicines in a nursing or pharmacy role.
