The Procurement Department at University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is expanding in order to provide services across the whole health economy in Cumbria and North Lancashire and as result now require a Lead Divisional Buyer to join their recently created Integrated Procurement service, which will service North Cumbria University Hospital Trust, Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as well as University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
Reporting to the Integrated Procurement Manager, the Lead Divisional Buyer role will play an integral part in embedding the Procurement function within a specified Division across the hospital sites and be a key driver of cost reduction and compliance.
You can be based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Westmorland General Hospital, Kendal or Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle for the following role :
Lead Divisional Buyer (Community & Non-Clinical).
As a minimum, you should be CIPS qualified and have substantial experience of working within a Procurement function, preferably at a lead / Senior Buyer level.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff).
