    About You

    This is a busy role and you’ll need to use your previous experience and show initiative in order to fully carve out your contribution.

  • Proven experience in scheduling, coordination and / or administration from a fast-paced environment. Ideally experience in or exposure to Learning / HR.
  • You are extremely organised and have experience and skill in juggling multiple tasks, whilst at the same time ensuring impeccable attention to detail. You are meticulous.
  • You’re proactive and see what needs to be done, whilst also being flexible and skilled at working in a reactive manner.
  • You enjoy spending time with people and being part of a team. You instill trust with everyone you interact with, and can be counted on to be reliable and helpful.
  • You instinctively act with absolute discretion and diplomacy, and apply sound judgement in responding to circumstances.
  • You enjoy variety and have a get stuck in mentality - no task is too big or too small.
  • You are self-aware, self-resilient and self-disciplined. You take responsibility for your own behaviour and actions.

  • The Role

    You’ll join the Learning Team (which currently consists of 4 people), as a team they understand the learning needs of DeepMind and facilitate the development of an innovative learning portfolio that reflects those needs and drives our progress towards our mission.

    You’ll be mentored by the Learning Team and work collaboratively with all operational teams daily, including the People & Culture Partners, the People and Culture Operations Team and various central support teams.

    No two days are the same and you should expect to work within a degree of ambiguity as we continually adapt to a growing and evolving business.

    The team is growing and learning together, adapting and flexing to the needs of the organisation and people.

    There is significant scope for this role to grow over time, provided you are prepared to learn continuously and make the most of a fantastic opportunity.

    As such you’ll need to confidently take ownership of your role and your own personal development. Of course, you’ll be supported along the way by a collaborative and extremely helpful team.

    Key responsibilities include :

  • Supporting with the end to end coordination of new learning programmes (pilots). Including; scheduling (liaising with our external partners and invitees), management of venue availability, supporting the design and delivery of communications to invitees, taking a data led approach (tracked on our Learning Management System (LMS), gathering feedback).
  • Creating process overview documents to support the effective ongoing operations of our learning programmes.
  • Managing the transition of our learning programmes from the Learning Team to the People and Culture Operations Team for ongoing delivery.
  • Supporting with ad hoc learning projects and proactively suggesting ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting with learning based queries on a regular basis. Approaching each individual query with care and attention; going the extra mile to ensure employees and managers have everything they need.
  • Managing contractor onboarding and set up on an ad hoc basis.
