What will the role involve?

The Leisure Attendant Apprenticeship is a great opportunity to begin your career in the Leisure Industry as an operational team member.

As part of your apprenticeship, you gain a nationally recognized qualification inLeisure Operations and gain all the required leisure delivery skills.

Across the 12-month apprenticeship you will gain a :

  • Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Operational Services
  • Level 2 Certificate in Leisure Operations
  • Level 2 Award in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure and Learning
  • Customer Services / Sales / Marketing within the Leisure Environment
  • Your day to day duties with consist of working to ensure the full operations of a Leisure Centre and maintaining all of the required set standards across the organisation.

    As part of your role, you will be required to learn and develop all the skills to operate the different dry side facilities.

    You will be given specific training within these areas which will provide the understanding and competence needed to be shown and linked to your main qualification.

    Pay and benefits

  • Salary dependent on location from the start of your apprenticeship (including your training period).
