SEN Teaching Assistants - Required for September 2020 Start - Westminster

    Empowering Learning Ltd are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistants to work in our fantastic SEND Schools in Southwark for a September 2020 start.

    Our SEND Schools caters for students with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and additional learning difficulties. We aim to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and resilience that supports our students to grow into purposeful young adults, so they can contribute to society in a positive way.

    These positions are both temporary and supply, as well as long-term positions, all for an immediate start or September 2020 start.

    We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are excellent practitioners, who take on a creative and dynamic approach to learning and are willing to commit to on a long-term basis to the school.

    We are looking for individual with a genuine passion and strong understanding of SEN learning environments. They are looking for individuals who have a fantastic work ethic, who can bring their dedication and specialist knowledge to help students learning and development.

    Graduates with either a Sports, Psychology or Drama based degree are highly welcomed, as these transferable skill sets work well in SEND environments.

    To be successful for this role, you must have

    Enthusiasm, dedication and motivation to work with SEND

    A passion and desire to work with students with additional needs

    Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments

    Ability to work with challenging behaviour where applicable

    Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students

    A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one When working with Empowering Learning Ltd you will benefit from :
