About the role :
Due to the present and anticipated workload, our client has identified the need to expand their team and therefore is recruiting permanently for a Junior Remediation Engineer.
You will initially be based out on a 9-month project in West Ham. Where you will assist in the delivery of contaminated land site investigation under the direction of Project Managers.
You will also undertake routine site or other technical work within the team that will also be required (drilling, taking samples, analysis, modelling, etc).

As a Junior Remediation Engineer, you will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects which differ in size and complexity.
Whilst working on varied projects you will also need to produce remediation strategies, risk assessments, and method statements.
Plus you will carry out site work including verification sampling, set up up and commissioning of treatment systems.
About the Requirements :
In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that individuals have at least 1-2 years post-graduate experience whilst working within a contaminated land discipline and ideally, a portion of this time will have been spent in remediation or on-site, carrying out sampling, site investigations, etc.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if individuals have a working knowledge of a range of remedial technologies and due to the remit of work, must hold a full valid UK driving license.
It is also essential you are degree qualified.
About the rewards / benefits :
For this permanent role, we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere between £25,000 £30,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.
