We have an exciting role within the Children and Learning Team, where you will lead, manage and direct the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team.

In this vital role, where you will manage and maintain the full operational responsibilities for the team supporting the delivery of child in need planning, child protection conferencing.
You will provide advice and guidance to social work staff on the application of thresholds, statutory requirements and quality standards, and to other professionals as required.

This is a public facing role so you will need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.
Children's Social Care
Our ideal candidate must have substantial, in depth experience in a statutory social care field with a particular emphasis on Safeguarding and Child Protection, management of risk and permanence planning experience of examination and assessment processes.
You will need to have experience of complex multi-agency child protection and statutory case work with looked after children
You will also need to have the ability to manage, motivate and develop a children’s statutory social care quality assurance team effectively achieving high levels of performance from staff
You must be educated to Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, or recognised equivalent professional social work qualification and Registered as a qualified social worker by the Health Care Professionals
