We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant colleague to join our team of 3 Consultant Dermatologists, 4 full time and 2 part time Associate Specialists ably supported by a Team of nurses at Hampshire Hospitals, which is based in Basingstoke and Winchester with satellite clinics in Andover and Alton with Day Unit facilities on 3 sites.
We serve the populations of North and Mid Hampshire and surrounding areas.
We enjoy good working relationships with our medical and surgical colleagues, with whom we have a joint MDT and have established a joint vulval clinic with the gynaecologists and plan an integrated clinic with the paediatric allergy service.
Our SSMDTs are with Southampton and we are part of the Wessex skin cancer network. We enjoy a good working relationship with our CCG.

Main duties of the job
Work with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standard of care
Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
Develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients and A&E
Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in tertiary centres, community services and primary care
Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
