Join us as a Test CoE Test Lead where you will be required to work closely and pro-actively with testers and project managers at all levels across all teams within NNB.
You will be responsible for supporting the Project Services Test Centre of Excellence with the delivery of testing for BAU upgrades, monthly system fixes or updates and support the wider CoE project remit where resource demands are necessary.
The Lead will work within the CoE test processes and ensure that all testing assigned to them is scoped, planned, managed and executed appropriately.
They will support Core CoE operations such as reporting, template or process updates, team communications and support to the Test Assurance Manager and CoE Manager when needed.
Opportunity to assist with the development of Performance and Automation test offerings, where appropriate to skill set.
This is a fixed term contract for 2 years.
They will be required to follow Test CoE best practise and take ownership of any test phases allocated to them. The main remit of test work will include the planning and scripting of UAT, either on behalf of or co-
ordinating with the appropriate business users. However, may include additional phases (SIT etc) if required and / or assurance of any third party testing that may be required or have a dependency on.
The Lead will be required to write Test plans and keep accurate records of all testing within their remit. This role is designed to focus on the more repeatable BAU updates and upgrades that do not form part of wider projects, some of which come on a monthly or annual basis.
There will be the opportunity to develop Regression packs for those that are highly repeatable and to explore the opportunities to progress those with Automated test tools, where feasible and efficient.
Working as part of the Core CoE team, there will be a number of Test Admin tasks associated with supporting both the CoE Manager and the Assurance Manager in maintaining and driving out best practice, good process and accurate reporting.
This wider view of the team will help with expanding knowledge, understanding and supporting any of the projects during peaks and when workloads allow.
