So, finding the best people is everything to us.We serve millions, but we choose our people one at a time Reporting to the People Director, the Head of People Operations will be a key member of Babylon's People Leadership team and will be responsible for Employee Experience in the UK.

This will include establishing, improving and embedding people processes and ways of working to make us a truly brilliant place to work.

You'll spend time on the following :

  • Leading and organising a team of eight direct reports to ensure that people, resources and processes are aligned with business needs and fit for purpose
  • Owning the Employee Experience throughout the employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes to terms and conditions and offboarding driving continual improvements
  • Owning the integrity of all data in People systems
  • Owning the reporting and analysis of people data
  • Maintaining clear workflow documentation for employee life cycle processes
  • Developing and implementing successful process, systems and policy improvements
  • Impeccable attention to detail, and proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Working with HRBPs and legal on complex employee investigations
  • Providing support to colleagues on complex people matters, including hearings and appeals
  • Drafting correspondence, providing solutions based on current legislation
  • Providing clear interpretation of HR policy to line managers and employees on a wide range of subjects including discipline and grievance, performance and absence management
  • Supporting and coaching team members to facilitate knowledge and experience growth
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of people management and the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • We're excited about you if you have :

  • 5+ years' experience in People / HR Operations within a mix of start up and larger companies
  • A background in healthcare and / or tech would be highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in coaching a team and upskilling them to reach their potential
  • Strong change management capabilities
  • Experience managing operational activity at scale within SLAs
  • Previous experience managing the full employee lifecycle and a comprehensive understanding and experience in HR operation administration and practices
  • Impeccable attention to detail, and proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a demanding environment whilst juggling multiple priorities
  • A highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude, even in the face of demanding deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills, natural team player, who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues but equally able to work on your own initiative
