About the role

The B2B Marketing Executive is a pivotal role that focuses on creating engaging and impactful marketing campaigns to build brand awareness amongst existing and prospective clients, as well as to generate leads for our Sales team.

This is an exciting and varied position and will see you develop and implement marketing plans around our various client personas.

You will be part of a growing B2B Marketing function within the wider Marketing team and will work closely with external agencies as well as stakeholders within the organisation on a broad range of marketing activities.

This includes end to end campaign and event management, content creation, social media, sponsorships, writing award entries, updating the website, writing scripts for videos and writing creative briefs and analysis and tracking.

You will be a confident writer and able to create content that engages and informs the target audience. You should also be highly analytical and report back on all activities, making suggestions for improvements where needed.

You should be motivated, energetic and ambitious and someone who can contribute ideas to grow the B2B Marketing function.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident building working relationships with multiple stakeholders, both within and outside of the business.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Team Lead on the development and delivery of a B2B marketing plan
  • Work closely with the sales department across the business to develop engagement on social channels, including running and managing internal competitions
  • Write content for blogs that is engaging and drives traffic to the site
  • Write creative briefs for brand awareness campaigns and project manage the creative work, alongside the creative team
  • Develop ideas for client events and manage the end to end logistics and communications
  • Project manage brand marketing campaigns or new product development initiatives
  • Ensure the client facing pages on the website are updated in line with SEO recommendations and new content
  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banner stands or presentations
  • Create email campaigns and keep warm communications using HubSpot
  • Write, post and manage social media activity across FDM’s social channels in line with the social media strategy for B2B
  • Research suitable awards and write entry submissions
  • Research and suggest sponsorship opportunities
  • Analyse all marketing activity and report monthly against KPIs
  • Any other reasonable duties as required
  • Criteria

  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Proven track record of delivering industry marketing campaigns that drive sales growth
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing blogs, social media and email campaigns
  • Possess a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience reporting on KPIs and analysing marketing campaigns
  • Experience developing multi format events, including webinars
  • Demonstrate stakeholder management skills, including working with senior stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Able to use initiative and come up with creative ideas
  • Energetic, confident and able to use own initiative and contribute ideas
  • Desirable; knowledge of HubSpot
