Are you an experienced Data CentreManager that has experience from racking & stacking to deployment &decommissioning – and everything in between? Interested in new challenges andbeing part of a newly created team working on critical projects? Then we’d liketo talk to you! 

An Oracle Data Centre Manager willbe the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data CentreEnvironment. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the mostcomplex infrastructure issues. As a skilled trouble-shooter on a widerange of Data Centre environment and systems you understand which issues toescalated to the appropriate resolver groups. You create and maintaindocumentation on technologies you support. You understand all aspects ofthe equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions onhis/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, payingattention to all details involved. Expected to improve current processes, andintroduce automation with aim towards simplification,

You are able to execute smallprojects on your own and work with your DIrect Management in planning and executing larger localprojects. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You ensure adherence to all established guidelines andmanagement practices for your employees.Some travel will be involved. 

Basic Qualifications:

+5 years experience,managingteams, including line management, appraisals, performance reviews, hiring newteam members etc

3-8 years of experience in ITInfrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment(200 - 1000+ server systems). 

3-8 years of experiencesupporting and troubleshooting distributed, N-Tier applications, software, andoperating systems. 

Must have demonstrated expertisein two or more of these areas: 

Systems administration (Linuxand/or Windows Servers) 

Networking (DNS, TCP/IP)

Demonstrated examples of processimprovement execution 

Demonstrated examples of a driveto dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems 

Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills 

Strong influencing skills

Ability to work independently,with little direct management 

Open to provide after-hourssupport as needed 

Experience supporting large,Enterprise customers in an Operations environment 

Strong understanding of Datacentre environment and infrastructure : Cabling,Cooling, Power (UPS,Generation)

Demonstrated examples of DataCentre white space capacity planning

Demonstrate understanding ofChange Managment

Your team's responsibilities willinclude: 

Act as technical liaison for ourtechnical teams. 

Ability to understand internalcustomer problem and provide technical solution in timely manner 

Ability to understand customerurgency and sensitivity of problem 

Strong Verbal and Writtencommunication skills 

Ability to speak confidently andcommunicate clearly with internal customers 

Ability to work well withdemanding customer environment and delight customer 

Strong Adherence to Process andbe process champion 

Participate in the installation,monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production serverhardware, software. 

Provides escalated 2nd leveltechnical support for complex technical issues which may include leadingproblem management cases and providing management status. 

Manages escalated support casesand leads appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors toresolution. 

Assist with server operatingsystem and application upgrades, bug fixes and patching. 

Working on standardizationprojects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack;while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a IaaSenvironment. 

Ability to quickly learn newtechnologies and keep up with the latest technologies. 

Advanced knowledge of networkarchitecture and protocols. 

Experience with enterpriseadministrative scripting using a major scripting language (Powershell, Bash,Perl, etc.) 

Outstanding organizationalskills, ability to prioritize effectively, and experience with technicalproject management. 

Highly service-oriented,reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic. 

Excellent communication skillsand ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers andstaff. 

Experience providing client-facing,direct customer support and service. 

Ability to interact with alllevels of an organization in a professional, and tactful manner. 

Ability to work productively incross-functional teams or resourcefully and independently as an individual
