The opportunity has arisen for the Mechanical / Plumbing Maintenance Technician based in Havant. To carry out a wide range of mechanical and plumbing maintenance duties associated with building services on a technology park site.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Liaise with and be part of the on-site Maintenance and Engineering Team and provide support to all Fasset sites throughout the UK as required
  • As a part of the maintenance service delivery team you will proactively support both reactive and PPM tasks that are produced by the Facilities Management System’.
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that you follow an end to end process that achieves the highest standard of facilities maintenance in full support of the clients’ expectations

    Qualifications Required :

  • Appropriate Maintenance related Apprenticeship / Training Scheme
  • Minimum of ONC / C&G level II / NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Relevant trade specific qualifications
  • Essential Experience / Knowledge :

  • A time-served well-rounded Technician with previous experience and knowledge of large complex building M&E systems with centralised plant and equipment
  • Pumped wet heating circuits and associated circuits
  • Intelligent Building Management Systems
  • Air conditioning systems including fan coil cassettes, condensate management etc.
  • A level of expertise in one or more of the following specialists mechanical or plumbing areas of plant maintenance and or installation :
  • Cooling towers
  • Gas Powered Plant
  • Legionella management
  • Pumps and gearboxes
  • Diesel Generators
  • Sanitary ware
  • Ability to accurately interpret requirements of more complex works for the Estates Management Team
  • A full UK driving licence and, with the provision of a pool vehicle, are able to work at multiple local locations with some flexibility in hours
  • Competencies :

  • Excellent client and customer services professional standards to be maintained at all times plus adherence to agreed protocol and service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi task
  • Proactive with a can do’ attitude
  • Team player and willingness to share tasks
  • Rota :

  • Week 1 : Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
  • Week 2 : Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
  • Week 3 : Monday to Saturday 7 am-3pm
  • Week 4 : Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm
  • In return Bellrock are offering a salary Circa of £28,500.00 per year, in addition to on call allowance. Working hours worked over rotational shift pattern, based on average of 37.

    5 hours per week and 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
