We are seeking registered Pharmacy Technician to become an integral member of the Surgical pharmacy team working as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician.
You will work closely with the surgical clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high quality patient focussed pharmaceutical care to patients within the surgical unit.
You will be involved in obtaining and documenting medication histories, facilitating and streamlining the discharge process discharge and liaising with GP's, community pharmacists and the primary care teamYou must be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have an accredited dispensary checking technician qualification (PDCT).
You should have a significant post-qualification experience in a hospital setting and excellent communication skills. Experience of working in a ward environment is essential.
Suitable training will be provided to the successful applicant.The hours will be worked Monday to Friday with participation in weekend and public holiday rotas.
