Our Children’s Home situated in Rhonnda Cynon Taff, Wales is seeking a permanent full-time Residential Support Worker. This is a four bed home for young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day to day care for our young people, supporting them in activities, encouraging then to join local clubs, ensuring all health needs are met, supporting them in education, increasing self-
esteem and equipping them with the knowledge and ability to keep themselves safe. Working as part of the team you will ensure the home is kept to a good standard in all aspects of house-keeping.
Our Support Worker roles in Rhonnda Cynon Taff offer a salary of up to £17,126 per annum. There is an opportunity for overtime if desired.
Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential for this role (we can support with the training of this.
Successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour.
Whilst a clean driving license is desirable it is not essential for this post.
A family is 24 / 7 and so are we. We use a rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need. As a Support Worker, in our Home you can you should be happy to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.
