The Role

The Senior Alliance Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing strategic programs within our EMEA Alliances organisation.

This position will support our EMEA Sales / Marketing / Product functions and will work closely with internal teams and external clients, as well as the assigned Alliance organisation(s), to ensure successful implementation of go to market initiatives.

Areas of responsibility will include; managing the executive engagement, developing and executing detailed joint business plans including revenue and customer adoption targets, building solutions capability by being creative and developing new lines of business, , driving competency and certification achievement and plans and developing go-to-market plans including being accountable for creating top of sales funnel opportunities through building and executing lead generation marketing campaigns with the assigned Alliance partner(s).

The Main Responsibilities

Being the main point of contact between Lumen and the assigned Alliance(s) in EMEA.

Ensuring that Alliance partners are effectively complementing Lumen strategy via appropriate market positioning and business investment.

Communicate the value proposition of the joint solutions to our sales team and work with the marketing / product teams to develop the sales materials / tools that support the selling process of the solution.

Creating and assuming day-to-day responsibility for driving forwards joint business plans agreed at Exec level and reviewed quarterly between both parties.

Developing go to market strategies and execute with support from other local functions and teams

Collaboration with Lumen global alliance peers for alignment to global plans & strategy

Tracking and overseeing competency and certification / training achievements for the EMEA stakeholders.

Driving Lumen EMEA Alliances brand awareness and value proposition within stakeholder groups by securing MDF and BDF from partners and working with marketing to deliver multi-touch marketing campaigns to drive top of funnel sales pipeline.

Ability to travel to alliance partner offices to build face to face relationships, and to support alliances with attendance at key industry events

Creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.

Creating & updating dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.

Presenting and reporting on progress, as well as problems and solutions to stakeholders.

7+ years professional work experience

5+ years in a Technology Alliance, sales, pre-sales, marketing role, or equivalent experience

Recent Alliance management and project management experience is required

Prior experience working within a large, global organization or analytics firm
