Job Description : Role
The Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA will be responsible for planning and implementing effective marketing campaigns across EMEA, ensuring that they are in line with Arrow’s strategic imperatives, which are;
To increase the customer base by recruiting new partners, addressing new markets and reaching a new community of customers and winning partners back from competitors.
To improve margins by driving the right revenue streams in the installed base. Focusing on the technologies that drive back-end margin rebate programmes and capitalising on Arrow’s end to end skill sets, by building services into every sale.
The Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA, will support Global-led and EMEA-led activities and will be required to plan, execute and manage campaigns for Arrow and its vendors across the EMEA region aligning to the Data Center and Data Intelligence portfolio primarily.
They will be required to work closely with the relevant divisional and regional teams to ensure that all campaigns meet Arrow’s local and national objectives.
The Senior Marketing Manager will report directly to the EMEA Marketing Director.
Execute both Arrow and Vendor campaigns across EMEA, build plans to support and achieve the business goals of Arrow and the respective vendors
Build strong vendor relationships, attend QBRs / regular meetings with aligned vendors, work with the respective EMEA Sales Directors on EMEA campaigns and initiatives
Collaborate with the EMEA countries to ensure successful execution of campaigns, communicate regularly on vendor initiatives in support of campaigns and back end margin programs
Manage Marketing Development Funds centrally as required and ensure return on investment reporting is consistently recorded from all countries, in order to secure future funding
An individual with substantial experience in the IT industry or similar experience gained in a marketing manager role in a commercial environment.
Qualifications in Marketing are required and commercial experience is essential.
It is essential that the ideal candidate has the following skills, attributes and experience :
Knowledge of digital and social principles as part of a multi-touch campaign
Marketing automation platform experience and a solid understanding of campaign workflows, nurturing processes, lead scoring, etc
Strong effective communicator : both written and verbal
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Excellent organisational and presentation skills
Good business acumen with budgeting, planning and execution skills
Effective and efficient in high pressure situations and in challenging environments
Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve marketing methods, approaches and contribution
Ability to create effective marketing tactics, strategies, plans and ROI targets
Ability to recognise the need to change and adapt strategies as required for different regions and to implement these in practice
Identifying new business and marketing opportunities in targeted areas
A highly motivated and results-orientated individual
The ability to utilise the Goldmine platform (MI) and local intelligence to support successful campaigns across all EMEA countries
